Information
IPSO, Integrated Pre-arrival Services Online is a partnership project that provides a set of online services including language training, job readiness, cultural competency, employer connections and mentoring for internationally trained individuals (ITIs) who are preparing to immigrate to Canada. IPSO provides opportunities to build basic writing skills and practice professional communication skills needed to be successful in the Canadian workplace.
Pre-employment Workshops

Through this program you will receive specific, tailored and practical information on employment and settlement.
Entry into a Database Searchable by Canadian Employers

Workplace Communication in Canada
Self-Testing - You will have the opportunity to test your communication skills in a Canadian workplace environment through interactive online activities. Once you have completed the self-test, you will receive a detailed report that will tell you how well you did in comparison to the expectations for skills and behaviours within a Canadian workplace. This report will help you identify your learning needs and plan your development of culture-based communication through our Learning Modules.
Learning Modules - Based on your Self-Test, you will be able to select the most relevant online training courses (3-6 hours each). These courses will help you better understand the Canadian workplace cultural values, norms and behaviours and therefore improve your chances to succeed upon your arrival.
